At Washington Wedding and Event Design, we believe that EVERYONE should be able to have a dedicated, creative, competent wedding planner, even when the budget is tight. The "Bridal Budget Plan" was designed for couples that have special circumstances.

Examples of special circumstances can include quick timeline military deployment, medical emergency in the family, etc. These are decided on a case-by-case basis and, to be completely honest, special circumstances really are in the "eye of the beholder" so it NEVER hurts to ask.

Invitation Design
Every single invitation that we design is created special for that event.
Unlike larger invitation design companies, we do not use prefabricated templates. We use the colors, themes, and inspirations provided by the bride and groom to come up with the designs specially for that event. We use a local print company and the quality of their paper and print work is always phenomenal!
COST: Design charge is $50 for simple design and $75 for complex design, plus cost of prints which is 30 cents per invitation and 15 cents for RSVP/Information Card, plus tax. The $50/$75 design charge is also eligible for the Bridal Budget Plan, so those couples will be charged $25 for simple design and $37.50 for complex designs. (The cost of the prints are the same because that is the charge from the print shop.)
WHAT IS THE PROCESS: For each couple/client, we design 2-3 different designs to choose from. Once the couple has decided which one they love, we call the print shop to verify the total amount including tax. Once we have the "go ahead" from the couple/client, we submit the order. Most of the time, orders are finished the next day. Once the invitations are finished, we pick them up from the print shop and pay out of pocket. We send the couple/client an email/text message with a copy of the receipt. When the invitations are delivered, the couple/client reimburses us the amount paid to the print shop, plus the design charge.

For birthday celebrations, we can also design a birthday suite.
The design charge for a birthday suite is $100, plus the cost of prints.
The birthday invitation suite can include any of the following items to match your party's theme: invitations, high chair banner (for baby's first birthday), water bottle labels, napkin rings, food tents, favor tags, and thank you cards.
